I know those of you who have been following the various serials (or should that be chapter-plays - for our Stephen King enthusiasts, wink) have been kept waiting for an extra few days, so thank you for your patience! I have a lovely large update for you tonight!
First up, Whisperee has added Chapter Five to her incredibly fun and exciting story, "Starter Home"! In this chapter, things become even more complicated, if that were possible! Steve shows up at City Hall for the very important approval meeting for the Duncan project and asks some questions that spell bad news for Ted, though Kiki feels his queries are valid. The conflict that ensues is the last thing Kiki needs! And not just from the discord Steve caused at the meeting!
Next up, Jackie has completed Chapter Fifteen to the spectacularly romantic though conflicted Quentin Finch story, "Meant To Be"! Quentin's returned home much to Taryn's consternation and Jo has had quite enough of the two of them not communicating! But can complete truth between them make Taryn change her mind about returning to England? The answer may surprise you!
Adding to Rough Magic's newest section, "Surreal-scape", Babette brings us an intriguing tale of love and murder called "Devil In Disguise?". Meet Robert Hays, a man accused of the heinous crime of murder and by all intents and purposes, falsely accused. Enter Dr Samantha Jacobs who finds herself embroiled in an unprecedented battle of loyalty and logic, the result of which will leave you breathless.
C4C has returned with Chapter Eight of the taut and tenderly romantic Bud White series, "Shadows"! Lynn and Joy share some news together at Lynn's dress shop, but Lynn just wants to get home and take care of Bud after the horrific day he's had. It's a night of wedded bliss for the hard boiled copper in this sweet and loving chapter!
I've updated "Full Length of the River" with Chapter Eleven. Terry and Stephanie meet Dr Gennero who turns out to be just the help Stephanie needs, though it turns out that he helps Terry just as much! But maybe a little too much as Terry finds himself saying something out loud he had no idea he would.
